Lewis Carroll's favorite number was 42. I'm just saying.


There aren't really words for how ecstatically happy I am about Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I guess the closest approximation would be "OMG OMG OMG OMG! Squeeee! Exclamation points!!!" I just...I just...I just like Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. A lot. A LOT. Literary nonsense, neologisms, surreal humor - this is the world that I want to live in. I am also amazed by the river of influence that flows from Lewis Carroll: Tom Waits, Jeff Noon, James Joyce, Douglas Hofstadter, Neil Gaiman, The Labyrinth, The Matrix. And now Tim Burton. It's very exciting!
