Why won't the drunken poetry let me go to sleep?

i've never written about you

we meet elsewhere
in the marrow of my pelvis
in silence
icebergs touching under the surface

you and i
the trembling of birds
held in the palms of a savior

hollow bones hollow bones

with you i can close my eyes
with you i can rest
with you there are no words
only the whisper of iceberg to iceberg

to write about you i have to be still
keep you inside of me like a secret

even though i can't sleep
you come to me in my dreams

in my dreams
we never speak

From The Influence of Exercise on Mental Health by Daniel Landers

Exercise is as effective at reducing anxiety and depression as psychotherapy, relaxation training, meditation, engaging in enjoyable activities, and social contact

Reduced anxiety

* Best results with “aerobic exercise”
* Best results after 10-15 weeks of regular exercise
* Best benefits for those who begin with lower fitness levels
* Best benefits for those who begin high in anxiety

Reduced depression
* Best results after 9 weeks of regular exercise
* Best results when done several times a week
* Best results with more vigorous exercise
* Best benefits for those who are more depressed

Exercise is associated with positive self-esteem, restful sleep, and ability to respond to stress
